使用说明

Sequence

Amino acid sequence derived from Human IL-8 isoform (P10145) (Ser28-Ser99) was expressed.

Protein length

The recombinant Human IL-8 consists of 72 amino acids (N-Met) and has a predicted molecular mass of 8 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the Human IL-8 protein is approximately 8 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Biological Activity

Immobilized human IL-8 at 200 ng/mL (100μL/well) can bind mouse anti-IL-8 antibody, the EC50 of mouse anti-IL-8 antibody is 66.4 ng/mL.

Endotoxin

< 1 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.

Formulation

Lyophilized from sterile 20 mM Tris, 200 mM NaCl pH 7.0.

Storage Instructions

Lyophilized Human IL-8 protein product should be stored desiccated below -18°C for 12 months. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and below -18°C for 3 months. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA), aliquot and store below -18°C. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Usage notes

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to centrifuge at 12,000 rpm for 1 minute. Then reconstitute the lyophilized Human IL-8 protein with the buffer provided not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted with other aqueous solutions.
