转铁蛋白(TF)是一种铁转运蛋白,主要在肝脏合成,并在大脑中由少突胶质细胞和脉络丛等组织合成,参与脑脊液(CSF)的产生。脑脊液中存在两种亚型:脑型TF和血清型TF,其糖基化结构差异显著。脑型TF具有独特的双天线无唾液酸和无半乳糖复合N-聚糖结构,携带双分β1,4-GlcNAc和核心α1,6-Fuc,而血清型TF的糖基化与血清中相似。生化分析表明,脑型TF的表观分子量较小,并暴露疏水区域。研究表明,脑型TF水平在特发性正常压力脑积水中降低(CSF产生减少),而在自发性颅内低压中升高(CSF产生增加),提示其可作为CSF产生变化的潜在生物标志物。

Lyophilized Human Transferrin protein product should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
