Sequence

Amino acid sequence derived from Human Annexin V isoform (P08758) (Met1-Asp320) was expressed.

Protein length

The recombinant Human Annexin V protein consists of 320 amino acids (N-Met) and has a predicted molecular mass of 36 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the Human Annexin V protein is approximately 36 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Biological Activity

Binds to phosphatidylserine (PS). Exhibits anti-phospholipase activity.

Formulation

Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.

Storage Instructions

Lyophilized Human Annexin V protein product should be stored desiccated below -18°C for 12 months. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and below -18°C for 3 months. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Usage notes

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to centrifuge at 12,000 rpm for 1 minute. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Human Annexin V protein using the buffer we provided not less than 1 mg/mL, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. For conjugation, it is recommended to reconstitute protein using conjugation buffer that do not cotain amino components (such as MES, PBS, HEPES). And the concentration of protein should be higher than 2 mg/mL.
