Sequence

Amino acid sequence derived from Human TGF-α isoform (P01135)(Val40-Ala89) was expressed.

Protein length

The recombinant human TGF-α consists of 50 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 5.5 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the human TGF-α protein is approximately 5.5 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

< 0.1 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.

Formulation

Lyophilized from sterile 20 mM Tris, 50 mM NaCl pH 6.5.

Storage Instructions

Lyophilized Human TGF-α protein product should be stored desiccated below -18℃ for 12 months. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4℃ between 2-7 days and below -18℃ for 3 months. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (example 0.1% HSA or BSA), aliquot and store below -18℃, Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Usage notes

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to centrifuge at 12,000 rpm for 1 minute. Then reconstitute the lyophilized Human TGF-α protein with the buffer we provided not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
