Sequence

Amino acid sequence derived from Human IL-1α protein isoform (P01583-1，Ser113-Ala271) was expressed.

Protein length

The recombinant Human IL-1α protein consists of 160 amino acids (N-Met) and has a predicted molecular mass of 18 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the Human IL-1α protein is approximately 18 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.

Formulation

Lyophilized from sterile 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH7.5.

Storage Instructions

Lyophilized Human IL-1α protein product should be stored desiccated below -18 ℃ . Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4℃ between 2-7 days and for future use below -18℃. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Usage notes

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Human IL-1α protein using the buffer we provided not less than 100 µg/mL, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
